Supporting trathcona Community Centre's Food Security for Children program, fireworks viewers could save their spot in a reserved area with unobstructed views of the Canada Day Burrard Inlet Fireworks and easy access to washrooms. Net proceeds from ticket sales went to the charity.

At 10:30pm on Friday, July 1, the Canada Day Burrard Inlet Fireworks Show lit up the sky with an extravaganza for the senses. This two barge simultaneously pyrotechnical display was based off the Burrard Inlet near Canada Place and Dundarave in West Vancouver.

This Fireworks celebration showcases our great country and celebrates our freedom and diversity as it caps off a tremendous Waterfront Party at Canada Place.

Over 450,000 people watch the Canada Day Burrard Inlet Fireworks Show as it is viewable from several locations and communities and is simulcast to music broadcast by media partner, Shore104.3 FM.

The purpose of the Burrard Inlet Fireworks Society is to provide, design and implement fireworks displays in Burrard Inlet for the enjoyment of the Society’s citizens to commemorate and to enhance celebrations in recognition of municipal, provincial and federal holidays.
