In 2011, guests had the freedom to choose from a range of art, entertainment and activities with Canada @ Play, Innovation Nation, Creative Nation and 30+ bands on five stages. Headliners included The Irish Descendants, Chic Gamine, and Montréal’s afro-pop group, H’Sao.

Coast Capital Savings Main Stage kicked off with the Citizenship Ceremony, hosted by Global BC's Chris Gailus.

The Arrogant Worms emceed the Watefront Party, culminating with a classic Canadian performance by The Grapes of Wrath. Making a global debut in 2011 was compelling art exhibit, Face of Canada.
