Highlights included live music and dance performances with popular acts including Hannah Georgas, The Hairfarmers and Watasun, and interactive activity zones featuring food carts, street hockey, an armed forces display, Salty’s Fun Zone and a circus show.
Afterward, guests checked out the Canada Day Parade presented by Port Metro Vancouver at 7:00 p.m. and the Coast Capital Savings Canada Day Fireworks at 10:30 p.m.
Thanks to thousands of you on Canada Day, we created a giant Canadian flag in honour of our nation’s 148th birthday and the Canadian flags’ 50th anniversary! There were over 3,000 people whose portraits were used and the photo credit is: TJ Rak and Raymond Chan.
