In 2011, Canadians were invited to one of the biggest Canada Day celebrations in the nation. Canada Day at Canada Place, presented by Coast Capital Savings had over 30 bands on five stages at our Waterfront Party from 10am-7pm. Check the video!

Supporting Strathcona Community Centre's Food Security for Children program, in 2011 fireworks viewers could save their spot in a reserved area with unobstructed views of the Canada Day Burrard Inlet Fireworks and easy access to washrooms. Net poceeds from ticket sales totalling over $9,000 were donated to Strathcona Community Centre.
Face of Canada
Face of Canada mades it's global debut at Canada Place for Canada Day 2011. This compelling art exhibit by renowned Canadian artist William Meire featured over 100 original oil portraits of notable Canadians who have helped shape the diverse fabric of our nation including hockey great Bobby Hull, Sir. John A MacDonald, Leslie Nielsen, and Sarah McLachlan and Michael J. Fox.
